String Bean with Minced Pork


Serves: 4
    Ingredients:
  • 1 lb string bean
  • 4 oz pork grounded

  • 1 roll mung bean vermicelli
  • 1/2 oz scallion chopped
 
    Seasonings:
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • A few drops sesame oil
    Cooking Directions:
  1. Trim and cut beans in halves.
  2. Heat 4 tablespoons oil in a wok to stir fry the beans over high heat for 3 minutes, add 1/3 cups water and cook till done, then drain.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons oil to stir-fry pork till done, mix in scallion and seasoning (except sesame oil), keep cooking for 2 minutes.
  4. Add vermicelli (soaked in boiling water for 20 minutes), beans, and 1/4 cup water, keep cooking to reduce the sauce, splash sesame oil, serve hot.
