Senior Vice President, Operational Strategy

H. Hiroshima is the Senior Vice President of Operational Strategy at Ajinomotofoods North America. He has worked for the Ajinomoto Group for over 30 years as a food industry engineer, factory supervisor, and leader in the business development department.

 

He has worked at establishing a new factory in Thailand to produce flavor seasonings and processed foods. He has engaged in factory management, including factory design, construction, production management, and quality assurance. Later, he became factory manager for a manufacturer of processed foods such as instant soup and mayonnaise. Immediately prior to his employment with Ajinomotofoods North America, he served as the Business Planning Leader in the Frozen Foods Division. He was responsible for global business strategic planning, capital investment management, financial management, and governance.

 

In his current role, he oversees the operational strategy for factories at Ajinomotofoods North America, including the Total Delivered Cost reduction project and the TPM strategy.

 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Keio University. He is fluent in both Japanese and English.
